I learned a new word today for baby basic needs--layette. I'm gathering a whole new vocabulary these days. We have decided--scratch that--Stan decided after sitting on me and threatening me with squash--that we should not go whole hog (what an odd expression) on the nursery until we have cleared the seven-day post-birth waiting period.
